Mitsi is a character in the Animator vs. Animation franchise. She was victim's lover, wife and supporter, as well as the co-founder and first C.E.O. of Rocket Corp. in the Outernet until her demise in late 2011, during The Dark Lord and The Chosen One's destruction-filled rampage across the internet.

Her tragic fate is one of the two catalysts for victim's desire for vengeance on his creator and The Chosen One, the former being the inhuman cycle of torture, death and resurrection inflicted onto victim by noogai3.

Appearance

Mitsi is a white, very stylized stick figure of average height. She differs from most other stick figures due to having hair and clothing. She has dark grey hair (approximately the same colour as victim) tied in a ponytail, and wears a loose, light grey dress. Another unusual feature are her limbs, which are sleek and have pointy ends.

Personality

She is friendly and kind, mostly supportive to victim. She's always around him and also helping him forget and overcome his past trauma of Alan Becker abusing him. She is also brave and willing to risk her own life to save others, as shown when she returned to help another stick figure trapped beneath rubble during The Chosen One and The Dark Lord's attack on Newgrounds.

She is presumed to be very intelligent given that she helped victim to run Rocket Corp and their specialization on technology.

History

Victim - Animator vs. Animation 11

Mitsi was a creation of Grace, who was practicing animation. After finishing her animation Grace uploads Mitsi's flash file to Newgrounds, unknowingly trapping victim and his rocket in the upload. victim's rocket continues past Newgrounds, with the energy from the file upload causing victim to accidentally enter the Outernet. The rocket enters the new world, where Mitsi as a character appears. Moments later, victim hits a tree in a crash landing. When Mitsi saw him, she helped the stickman up to his feet. Though victim was initially frightened of her, due to her appearance resembling the cursor who tortured him for most of his existence, her warm personality allowed him to overcome his aversion.

Both were then discovered by the villagers of a nearby town where they landed, and she warmly shook hands with everyone. After calling victim over, they followed the villagers back; she also took some time to admire the picturesque view of the hills. The villagers kindly welcomed them with flower wreaths, where victim showed his humorous side by putting the wreath across his face, making Mitsi laugh. They then noticed the village's damaged wind vane caused by the rocket's crash.

Mitsi and the villagers watched in amazement as victim used his tools to replicate a broken wind blade. With the help of the villagers and Mitsi, victim was able to completely repair the wind vane. To celebrate the achievement, everyone gathered around victim for a group photo. Over the next few months, victim and Mitsi lived a peaceful life in the village, learning to farm, fishing, making repairs in the village, and slowly falling in love with each other. At times, when victim remembered his creator, Mitsi would comfort him, and he gradually was able to push aside his trauma.

One day, while gazing at the fixed wind vane and its rocket logo, Mitsi gained an idea for a repair shop. She and victim set up a stall asking for people to let them repair their broken belongings. Eventually, the business became large enough for them to start a headquarters, and Rocket Corps began to rapidly increase in growth, power, and staff. The corporation's success was documented by magazines and the power couple became established entrepreneurs. It is here that Mitsi and victim would meet Agent, then a police officer apprehending a perp. They began a close friendship with the officer as their own love for each other deepened.

During the four-year anniversary of the company, Mitsi and victim threw a party to celebrate the momentous occasion. As everyone began to dance, Mitsi and victim danced together until she unexpectedly vanished from the Outernet. Forcefully transported back to Newgrounds, Mitsi witnessed the chaos and ongoing destruction caused by The Chosen One and the Dark Lord, before her file vanished right below her. During this, she saw several others in the same predicament, including Purple, Pink, and Navy.

Mitsi then found Agent, who too was a Newgrounds animation, struggling to get out of his animation before it closed on him, before helping him out after giving him his glasses. Misti helped Agent back onto his feet and retreated, but after handing her friend to fellow survivors, Mitsi ran back to aid other animations trapped beneath the debris. As they ran back, Mitsi ducked and covered in fear as the devastation grew and she was cut off from Agent by an explosion.

As the dust settled, Mitsi found herself trapped beneath a piece of rubble. As she sees Agent trying to reach her, she attempted to pull herself free but was killed when a fireball landed directly on her. Agent witnesses her presumed killer, The Chosen One, hovering over where she was trapped and fearfully ran away as the Chosen One was soon joined by his companion The Dark Lord, barely escaping back to the Outernet.

Mitsi's death was witnessed by victim through Agent's memories and the company Memory Machine. Driven mad with grief and trauma, victim spent the next seven years mourning her demise, until a sighting of the Chosen One and his creator was found, giving him a new drive to exact revenge.

victim was Mitsi's lover and the first person she met after arriving in the Outernet. When they met, victim had backed away from her, and due to his trauma, he had hidden behind her upon seeing villagers mistaking them to be his creator. However, they had slowly warmed up to the locals of the Outerverse, first by repairing the windmill, and then establishing a repair firm that was later expanded to a technology conglomerate named Rocket Corp. However, they would later fall in love; with Mitsi being the sole source for victim's comfort, whenever he was exhausted or frightened by the trauma of the torture he suffered under the Animator's hands. At their 4-year celebration, Mitsi, along with a number of stick figures were forcefully teleported back to Newgrounds when it was being incinerated by the Dark Lord and the Chosen One, where she tragically lost her life soon after. victim didn't find out about Mitsi's demise until after Agent returned, having learned of it later on through the Memory Reading machine, and then mourned for her death for seven years.

Agent

Agent met Mitsi when she and victim were beginning to gather people together to create Rocket Corp. While the extent of their relationship was rather a mere acquaintance, she and victim hired him as their head of security for Rocket Corp. Though she had saved Agent from certain doom upon their fateful return to Newgrounds, Agent was unable to return the favour as she was killed by a fireball soon after.

The Chosen One and The Dark Lord

These two stick figures are the ones responsible for Mitsi's demise, but it’s unknown who the fireball came from as The Chosen One was the one standing directly above where she was incinerated but began to express doubt following the destruction of StickPage, while The Dark Lord revelled in the onslaught they caused.

Trivia

• Mitsi is the second female stick figure to appear, and also, the second female figure to die, and her death would help push the plot along, the first being Pink.

• Her name is of Germanic origin, which means “sea of bitterness”. This could symbolize how the memory of her is a bitter reminder to victim as she was the one who gave his life new meaning and her loss is what caused him to become a hollow shell of himself.

  • Her name might also be based on victim's. "victim" spelled backwards would be "mitciv", and if the "v" is to be removed, the name would simply be "Mitci", which would be pronounced as "Mitsi".

• Mitsi and victim are the second major characters with an actual love relationship like Pink and Dark Blue as both is heavily implied to have been either dating or even married.

  • A poster in AvA 11 (13:54) describes victim and Mitsi as a "power couple".

• She is the first fleshed out female stick figure, as Pink only had minor character development.

• Mitsi, Pink, and Gold, the only three canonically deceased stick figures, have each been shown dead in the same episode they debuted in. Mitsi was introduced and killed with a fireball in AvA 11, and Pink's first appearance was in Note Block Universe, where during Purple's story, was introduced and shown as a grave. In The King, Gold was introduced and shown getting destroyed by corruption after the Minecraft simulator malfunctioned.

  • This means that both stick figures that are canonically female have died.
