Green is one of the four Fighting Stick Figures. He is the best friend of The Second Coming, a close friend to Blue, Yellow and Red, and was Purple's supposed enemy, before restarting their friendship in Note Block Universe. His main skills within Minecraft are building and architecture, he uses the fishing rod as grappling hooks as one of his main tools. His main passion is music, he is a master at playing note blocks. He can also pick up new skills very quickly.

He is one of the main characters of Animator vs. Animation 4 and Animator vs. Animation Season 2, as well as being one of the main protagonists in the Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts, and Animation vs. YouTube. He is one of the five members in the Stick Gang.

Appearance

Green is a lime, natural stick figure of average height. His official hex code is #66CC00, as stated by Alan Becker in a Discord message.

Personality

Green is the jack-of-all-trades, capable of doing anything he sets his mind to, striving to achieve perfection. Due to this, he can be a show-off and a bit arrogant as well. He is probably the most competitive of the Stick Gang, always ready to flex his skills for his friends to see. That said, he can get a bit too competitive, to the point where he accidentally got himself killed in PvP. However, Green still cares deeply about his friends and has developed strong bonds with his secondary-colored counterparts, The Second Coming, and Purple. He is also forgiving, willing to give Purple another chance despite having been backstabbed by him twice before.

History

Animator vs. Animation 4

Green appears for the first time on the website Sticksfight.com. With the breach The Second Coming created, he and the rest of the gang escape onto the Facebook webpage and explore the computer for a few moments before being terminated by Alan Becker in the Windows Task Manager.

Later it is shown that their termination did not end their existence, but simply reset them to their website on the internet.

Animation vs. Minecraft

Green reprises their role in helping defend noogai3's computer. After the invasion of Herobrine on Minecraft, Green along with The Second Coming, Yellow and Blue helped delete the Minecraft application to free Red from his possession.

Animation vs. YouTube

Green is the only Fighting Stick Figure to accompany The Second Coming throughout the fight of YouTube and assisted in the destruction of the artificial intelligence interface. He gets sent into a video and destroys YouTube through the video.

StickFigureGreen

Green is the only stick figure in the video, which consists of him being trapped in a small, light grey box. At first he tries to escape the box, similar to how he does in Animation vs. YouTube, but is unable to. He eventually gives up and pulls out his phone, going on to YouTube and clicking on the StickFigureGreen video. He watches part of it before putting the phone away. He then breaks the video, causing an explosion, and teleports out, falling to the ground.

Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts

Throughout the events of AVM Shorts, Green is seen in almost every episode of Season 1, exploring the Nether, other computers and realms within the game.

Green also makes important appearances in multiple shorts: The Building Contest, where they won the build battle, revealing their architectural skills; Note Blocks in which it is revealed they have amazing musical skills; The Nether, where they were stranded in the Nether with Blue (along with all the other episodes in which they were stranded in various places); Redstone Academy, where they were The Second Coming's competition, Note Block Battle, where they had to compete against all the Fighting Stick Figures plus the musical chicken, and once again in Build Battle, where the other sticks tried to compete with Green on their building skills, where Green accidentally spawns a wither.

In The Witch, Green is one of the stick figures that got attacked by the witch and plays most part of the episode as a sugar cane stuck in a dirt block. He later turns back to normal.

In the episode Parkour, Green and the other stick figures go on a parkour course, which was actually a plan by Purple and King Orange the whole time. They escape the parkour cube digging through and end in an electrified cell together with the pig.

In The Ultimate Weapon, Green ends up escaping the cell using an ender pearl and then releases the pig. Green finds Yellow and Blue with Purple and explaining that King Orange and Purple are working together to steal the Minecraft Game Icon. The three of them team up and attempt to take on their common enemy but the Minecraft Game Icon is taken from their desktop home, resulting in them losing all of their inventory.

In Note Block Universe, Green travels through the musical world, seeking Purple. Along the way he is taught to sing by villagers. He uses this ability to get Purple's attention as he chases him up a mountain. At the top of the mountain, Purple tells Green his story and the two decide to take on King Orange together.

In The King, he helped The Second Coming, Blue, Red and their friends defeat King Orange and stop him from completely destroying Minecraft.

In Ultimate Minecart Race, he raced with the other four Fighting Stick Figures. The main plot is as follows. At first, Red came up with an idea—use a shovel to gain speed, and Green do so too. He's still "rowing" the minecart when The Second Coming threw away the shovel and started putting the minecart ahead to move forward quicker, but Green chased him closely, so The Second Coming threw two minecarts backwards to stop him, but missed. When they were fighting for the last minecart, Red exceeded them and gain the first place,and they fought. Finally, Red was beaten and he with The Second Coming stepped on Red to get on the first minecart. When they're fighting, Blue threw a dynamite secretly to them, and blew them up.

Animator vs. Animation Season 2

In Season 2, Green is a deuteragonist seen mostly in the background accompanying the Fighting Stick Figures.

Animation vs. Super Mario Bros

Green is seen in the brief fighting against the several incarnations of Mario on the desktop.

Animator vs. Animation Season 3

Wanted

Green sees Blue and Red challenging each other to a fight, he decides to participate, eventually with Yellow and The Second Coming joining the fight. They all team up and decide to challenge Alan Becker, afterwards, The Chosen One emerges from the portal, he takes The Second Coming to the Outernet and the stick figures follow them, they land in the Outernet and see chaos in the distance, they head towards the field to realise they are too late, witnessing The Second Coming and The Chosen One being taken away.

Powers & Abilities

  • Overall Abilities: Green possesses strong affinities toward music, architecture, grappling, and fighting.

    • Expert Builder: Green is shown to be very proficient in building, being able to win in almost all of the Stick Figures' building contests, even against Yellow's automated robot. He even built a windmill within seconds after learning about the Master Block in Animation vs. Minecraft.

    • Expert Musician: Green is shown to be extremely proficient at playing music, guiding all the other Fighting Stick Figures in playing music, as shown in Ep. 5 of Animation vs. Minecraft. His ability is shown to be comparable to that of Red, Blue, Yellow, and a Chicken's abilities in music combined, even with their abilities enhanced by Blue's Potion of Musicality.

      • During Note Block Universe, Green gains the ability to play music simply from his mind, and even create moving animations from the music notes.

    • Expert Fighter: Green is shown to be an extremely adept fighter, as with the rest of the other Fighting Stick Figures, being able to take on multiple enemies. Green is also seen to be very proficient in Omni Directional Movement, using items like fishing rods and riptide tridents even more so than most of the other Stick Figures.

    • Expert Escape Artist: Green is seemingly able to teleport out of bad situations, putting an armor stand with green wool on its head where he was.

    • Strong Reflexes: Green’s reflexes are very strong, as shown in “The Prank”. He dodges and blocks every cake Red attempts to throw at him, resulting in a battle between the two, where Green shows he’s proficient in instantaneous maneuvers, avoiding every pastry at supernatural speeds.

Trivia

  • Green, along with Red, can somehow hit three note blocks at the same time while using only two hands. This is likely because they kicked, slid or kneed the note block; and it was not considered tapping with their hand, or they might have put it in between both note blocks.

  • Green is often seen wielding two weapons at once, such as swords, fishing rods or grappling hooks from Yellow.

  • Green is the first character to respawn. This occurred shortly after The Second Coming accidentally killed him, and was presumed to have happened after he was killed again by Blue and The Second Coming.

    • Green is also the first character to die twice in the same episode.

  • The video of Green in Animation vs. YouTube actually exists, and can be found here.

  • Green and The Second Coming share a close bond. They are usually competing against each other, fighting together, or simply hanging out.

  • Alan described Green as "The guy who's skilled at everything". [6]

    • This does make sense because Green is skilled at building, composing music, and PvP in Minecraft, only losing to The Second Coming.

  • He likes spending time with Blue and it seems like, the Second Coming aside, they're the closest out of all the Fighting Stick Figures.

  • As of Season 3 of the AVM Shorts, Green seems to be holding a huge grudge against Purple and has somewhat of an obsession about getting revenge on him. They're visibly angry once they learn Purple's working with King Orange, and despite Yellow's protests, chases Purple to a Nether portal. During the fight with the Piglin Army that was send out by Purple in "The Ultimate Weapon", Green is the most brutal out of all the Fighting Stick Figures, wanting to catch Purple as soon as possible. However, in episode 29, Green actually has a soul for Purple. Green didn't want to catch Purple. Instead, he chased him into the Note block Universe so that he can ask Purple about his intentions. and when Purple told Green his full backstory, he chose to accept Purple as a friend, not an enemy.

  • Green is the first stick figure known to vocalize. However, it is in the form of a musical note.

    • The instrument he "sings" in is a clarinet. Although many believe that it is a flute, this is just a common misconception.

  • Green is one of the two stick figures to be turned into a piston by the witch in the episode "The Witch", the other being Blue.

  • A running gag is Green getting hurt the most in the Actual Shorts.

  • On September 29th, 2020, Alan posted a GIF on his X account showing Green as a stick bug, in reference to a meme. The GIF was animated by @ellis02magson.

  • In the comment section of his video Wild Trick Shots, Green revealed he likes Daft Punk.

    • It was also revealed that his favorite songs include Something About Us, Infinity Repeating, Fragments Of Time, and others.

  • Green created an Instagram account in September 2024, announcing it in his video Vlog through Minecraft, with the handle "greenzilla4real". Green also created a TikTok account with the same handle, as seen in his bio on Instagram.

  • Green is the only Fighting Stick Figure to not be a primary color.
