About Herobrine
edit_squareTable of Contents
Herobrine Is the Main Antagonist Of Animation vs. Minecraft
(not to be confused by the series). He is a powerful and enigmatic entity who first appears after possessing Red, using his newfound body to try and eliminate the five main stick figures and take control of both Minecraft and noogai3’s computer.
Though he debuts as a major threat, Herobrine makes an unexpected return in the AVM Shorts series as a supporting character. He takes on the role of a teacher in Monster School and later allies with the stick figures in The King, where he joins the fight against King Orange.
Appearance
Herobrine is visually identical to Steve, the default Minecraft character, with the exception of his iconic eyes—glowing pure white and devoid of pupils. This eerie detail distinguishes him from ordinary players and adds to his mythic, supernatural aura.
Powers & Abilities
Possession: Herobrine is capable of taking control of other beings, even those outside the Minecraft realm. His possession of Red is the most well-known instance.
Block Manipulation: He can summon, reshape, and weaponize blocks such as TNT, pistons, cobblestone, and obsidian.
Awareness & Intelligence: Fully aware of his existence within a digital world, Herobrine demonstrates expert knowledge of Minecraft mechanics, including hidden systems like mob spawners and special TNT.
Telekinesis: Objects and entities can be moved at a distance, shown in Monster School and The King.
Effect Generation: Capable of creating phenomena with no visible source—such as summoning accessories or writing on a board without chalk.
Multiplication: Herobrine can clone himself, creating an army of Steves for coordinated large-scale battles.
Flight: Able to hover and fly, albeit in a stiff and robotic manner.
Teleportation: He can teleport instantly and can also teleport other entities.
Unnatural Body Movement: Herobrine can contort and bend his form in unnatural ways to dodge attacks.
Superhuman Qualities:
Speed: Moves at lightning-fast speeds, making his attacks unpredictable.
Strength: Can destroy bedrock with a single kick.
Senses: Detects incoming attacks from all directions.
Durability: Withstands blows and continues to fight undeterred.
Resurrection: Can revive mobs, including his clones.
Combat Mastery:
Martial Arts: Skilled in hand-to-hand combat, capable of overpowering multiple enemies.
Weapon Proficiency: Efficient with swords, bows, and other weapons.
Strategic Genius: In The King, Herobrine leads coordinated assaults using clone formations and a mix of weaponry.
Intangibility: Can make himself and others untouchable by becoming intangible.
Trivia
Despite his importance, Herobrine’s first appearance is brief—only visible during Red’s glitching scene in Animation vs. Minecraft.
His AVA design lacks the beard from Steve’s classic skin.
In Lucky Block Staff, anyone can emulate a limited version of his powers using a staff equipped with his head.
Herobrine is the only mob in The King who resists being absorbed into King Orange’s staff.
